End of Iraq War Announced; Bay Area Reacts
President Obama declared an end to the Iraq war on Oct. 21, announcing that all U.S. troops would be withdrawn from the country by year's end.

Obama's statement put an end to months of wrangling over whether the U.S.- Some Bay Area rejoiced on social media after hearing the president's announcement.
Others were more measured or sarcastic.
