Bad news is that Windows Phone OS, even the latest 8, has failed to trigger much excitement. Clearly, there's a distance to go.

It's a race where the horse has to be as good as the rider. Nokia, MSFT have to find speed & balance. Apple has it. Android is just a horse

#Apple rides its own horse. It has no clash and hence leads the race. #Samsung, #HTC have used Google's horse Android and profited from it.

Nokia chose to ride Microsoft's horse, which isn't exclusive to it. Samsung is serious about the same, so is HTC. That's where the battle is

#Nokia has to work on a breakthrough innovation. PureView could have been one, but then it was launched on a Symbian phone. Hence no novelty
