Discussing Dhalgren with William Gibson

I went to Powell's to pick up Dhalgren by Samuel Delaney, and I tested out Meridian, a new app that helped me navigate the store and took me right to the book on the shelf. Not to miss out on a futuristic experience, author-hero William Gibson, who wrote the foreword to the book, also helped.

. @GreatDismal used the word "singularity" twice in one foreword, so I'm definitely gonna read Dhalgren. @powells http://t.co/pQLtHAB

My apologies @GreatDismal. That's THREE singularities in one foreword. What on Earth is this book going to be like?? #Dhalgren

@JonMwords Well, it was pretty important to me. One of the very few novels that really feels like "the Sixties" felt to me.

Here's @JonMWords using Meridian to find a novel at @Powells then tweeting with William Gibson about it. Future=now. http://cl.ly/5a2Q
