Through the eyes of Twitter: Chiefs re-visit Joplin

Social media coverage of the Kansas City Chiefs return visit to Joplin, Mo. on June 15th

  1. Chiefs players, coaches and front office staffers visited tornado-ravaged Joplin, Mo. on June 15th to aid in ongoing rebuilding efforts.

    Through the Governor’s Joplin-Habitat Challenge, the Chiefs helped build five new homes and provided landscaping for an additional two properties.

    When the Governor’s Challenge is complete, the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals; St. Louis Rams, Cardinals and Blues; Mizzou Athletics; and NASCAR will have helped build 35 new homes. For more information on the Governor’s Joplin-Habitat Challenge, visit joplinchallenge.mo.gov.
