Does Mobile Phone Photography Need An "ography"

  1. There should be an Android equivalent word for 'iPhoneography', cos I like that word.
  2. @jackstow yeah, I think we need something generic like mobileography as I doubt I'll always be an iPhone freak
  3. @jackstow Yeah, 'Androidography' doesn't quite cut it somehow.
  4. @richardmackney @_mattbrock Maybe like @davepdotorg suggests it should just be 'photography'. You don't have Canonography or Fujiography..
  5. @jackstow @_mattbrock @davepdotorg we still need to qualify and identify why our mobile images look crap compared to SLR :)
  6. @richardmackney @_mattbrock @davepdotorg So what about using iPhoneography as a generic word. I 'hoover' the floor with my Dyson.
  7. @jackstow @richardmackney @davepdotorg That _could_ work I suppose, like the way some people use 'Lomography' to describe Holga photos.
  8. @richardmackney @_mattbrock @jackstow Fakeographer and proud. (There, we have a name, are we all happy now? :-P)
  9. @_mattbrock @jackstow @davepdotorg how about "shitfixedlensmobilephotographythatihavetoadddigitalfilterstotomakeitlookcoolorretro-ography"
  10. @OregonMJW @davepdotorg @richardmackney @_mattbrock Brings up question is mobile pics of value. Think some of the stuff you guys do rocks.
  11. @jackstow @OregonMJW @davepdotorg @_mattbrock I'll always have a mobile with me so ... The best camera is the one you have with you ;)
  12. @jackstow Joking aside, what I don't like about names like that is it makes it about the brand, not my vision.
  13. @davepdotorg See your point. An appropriate word would be good though. iPhoneography is popular because its a good word.
