Earl Scruggs, banjo picker

One of the great of bluegrass music died Wednesday in Nashville. Earl Scruggs was 88 and had a music career that spanned some 84 years. He invented a style of playing the banjo, helped popularize bluegrass to a larger audience and expanded the limits of what bluegrass is.
