(As a note to other journalists, we're not having a ton of luck with getting hash tags to stick.)
Ironic how the people who pull you over for running a red light don't have to pay their ticket for the same offense. #redlighttickets

I get a ton of tips from viewers though, so it is a good question.
@jacelarson the last one I got, I was looking right at my radar detector like wtf man?!?! (it wasn't on, d'oh!)- (I didn't even know people still had radar detectors.)
@jacelarson Unless they're running w/ lights & siren, there's no reason they shouldn't obey the law, and pay the price if they don't.

@jacelarson It's a great story! To many people throw tickets away. With more ticket revenue. City's can get back to work.- @jacelarson Not disagreaing with you. A ticket is a ticket, and needs to be dealt with. But so many cities are in budget cuts, not happening
- At one point in the evening, I had an idea -- which didn't work. I wondered if I could get people to Tweet or email me the pictures off their red-light tickets. They are always great, aren't they? People look surprised, caught off guard. It's always good for some humor, no?

@jacelarson - my mom got one of these tickets once. She wrote them a "thank u" note for sending such a good photo of her - lol #truestory- @jacelarson bad photos!!! Not happening. Still have one I got in college..I'll have to find that one for you. Lol. Good story.
- Did you know red-light cameras are all over the place? Sure, I knew they were sprinkled throughout the country. Viewers all over the place were happy to chime in with locations outside the Denver area.
@jacelarson @9NEWS New Orleans is famous for them. Total racket. Law is in and out of the courts all the time.
