Wales Blog Awards 2011

Wales' bloggers were honoured last night for their excellence.

  1. The second annual Wales Blog Awards honoured some of the best bloggers in the nation last night at Cardiff's Chapter Arts Centre. 
  2. Blogger Phil Stead (@pjstead) and his blog Ffwtbol (@ffwtbol) performed a hat trick winning Best Blog, People's Choice Award and Best Sports Blog.

  6. After her win was announced, tweets of congratulations came flooding in.
  7. Best community blog was Rhuthin/Ruthin, which promptly thanked its community of readers on a post to the blog: "I am convinced that it is the interaction between blog readers that has contributed to the blog winning."
  8. Best lifestyle blog was Where are My Knees?, run by Lucy, Gem, Sarah, Charlene and Sarah. The girls blog about their weight loss goals and how they achieve them.
  9. Best entertainment blog was Movie Waffle, powered by James Tatham.
