Therefore, from a legal standpoint, and a standpoint of Constitutionalism, gay marriage has no reason to not be allowed. It is basically provided for in the constitution, as in all citizens have the right to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." By not allowing homosexuals to marry, you are taking away the rights given to them legally by the Constitution. Therefore, in the country of the United States of America, you could not only be sued, but also imprisoned.
