- @pseudodeviant The first time I applied for DLA in 2005 it took nearly two years to win at tribunal. #gdnchat
- @Claire_Phipps I was without DLA through the appeal, struggling to buy food and pay rent. #gdnchat
- @Claire_Phipps After the appeal I got a two year back-payment but we had already had bank charges and gone without things we needed #gdnchat
- @Claire_Phipps @samdownie I may lose my Motability vehicle, so will be unable to leave the house as I'm a full time w'chair user #gdnchat
- There was a lots of worries about mobility specifically:
- @Claire_Phipps #gdnchat Wife on DLA,MS sffr, on 'copaxone' disease modifying drug. Has to do 25 mtr wlktest, to receive drug. PIP 20mtrs ???
- Your worries about the changes from DLA to PIP:
- @Claire_Phipps My worry is the cumulative effect of ALL the changes - #PIP #ESA #UC #BedroomTax #CouncilTax Will have huge effect. #gdnchat
