For Generations To Come: Campaign Kickoff Weekend

Georgetown University publicly launched "For Generations to Come: The Campaign for Georgetown" over the weekend of October 27-30, 2011. Events included an "Afternoon of Ideas" conference, a campus celebration including lights on Healy Hall, and a gala dinner at the National Portrait Gallery.

  7. Launch weekend officially began with Board of Regents meeting, followed up with a student-alumni networking event by Georgetown Alumni Career Services called "Ready, Set, Connect"

Following an address by President Bill Clinton in Gaston Hall, Think About It: An Afternoon of ideas was an opportunity to be inspired by thought leaders from the Georgetown community, including some of the most distinguished alumni and friends of the university. Audience members tuned in at Lohrfink Auditorium and through a live webcast of the talks, and shared their reactions with #GUideas:
