Are you dead? Yes? Tough.

  1. My friend who was cremated y/day has been sent her p45 & told she is not sick enough 4 esa & to look 4 work.
  2. Later...
  3. the tweet about my friend being sent her P45 & told to look for work after her death has been rt a lot. To clarify, this was a not a sudden
  4. ...illness of a previously healthy person, but a long-drawn out debilitating problem which left her too ill to even use a wheelchair for yrs
  5. of course ppl get suddenly ill & die, the DWP cant b expected to know everything, but this was a person who had been assessed & who was ...
  6. ..clearly desperately ill, the last few years of her life spent unable to sit up, let alone work.
  7. my friend was refused a stairlift & a downstairs toilet, making life extremely difficult. On a good day she would crawl upstairs, taking ..
  8. ..over half an hour to get upstairs, plus another half to get down. She worked all her life until a few years ago when her illness worsened
  9. Basically she was failed (I think) by much of the system. I really cannot understand how she was treated, it is incomprehensible.
