Twitter users speak out in response to 'vagina' controversy in Michigan House

Perhaps not surprisingly, Rep. Lisa Brown being silenced by Michigan House leadership has been a popular topic on Twitter, where users have spoken out mostly in support of the representative, who says she was banned from speaking on the floor for using the word "vagina."

Sex columnist and gay-rights activist Dan Savage was among the prominent voices to weigh in expressing his support:
