Mad for #MadMen

Mad Men's season opener drew more social-media comments than any other series premiere in 2012, according to Mashable. Here's some reaction, mostly from Houston.

  1. Agh. Who has Zou Bisou Bisou as an earworm in their heads today? Curse you, #MadMen
  2. How many men in America are humming 'Zou Bisou Bisou' today? #MadMen
  3. #MadMen Megan Draper may not be cut out for advertising, but who cares. Her naughty maid business is going to be huge.
  4. I don't think I'm a fan of the new wife. That polka dot blouse was kind of atrocious. #MadMen
  5. Hmmm. Not everyone is a fan of #MadMen apparently. "Open your blouse" doesn't work on IHOP waitresses wearing too much eyeliner.
  6. I like every chick thinks she can change Don Draper. Girl please. Don must have a magic penis or something. #MadMen
  7. Did anyone watch #MadMen last night? on.mash.to/GSzod3 It currently stands as the most social premiere of the year!
  8. Who DIDN'T watch Mad Men last night? THAT is the question. #MadMen #Inkflo
  9. i apparently made a huge mistake by not watching mad men last night. guess i know what i'll be doing tonight. #MadMen
  10. Who is not surprised that Don can easily slip into the Dom to Megan's sub role? Not me. #hawt #MadMen
  11. "@JaniceSimon: Watching the sexist and racist comments on #madmen made me think how far we've come. Then I turned on the news." Oh, snap.
  12. Not enough Betty Draper. But all in all, solid season premiere. Love that show! #madmen
  13. I'm sad we didn't see Betty tonight — I need new prissy material to quote while I hold my cigar like she holds her cigarettes. #madmen
  14. "I'm very sorry. I should not be allowed to drink at work functions. Or at all, honestly." #MadMen
  15. Hate to nitpick on historical accuracy, but wasn't "Bean Ballet" one of the 13 fallen Jedi? #MadMen
  16. Is it just me or does every #MadMen character look like they've gained sympathy weight with Joan? I'm looking at you Pete Campbell.
  17. Wow with the African statue... #MadMen ...I'm sure that probably happened but it's different for me to see what it may have looked like.
  18. Oh #MadMen you push those lines just to the right distance. Good stuff.
