It's as if the New York Times wants fewer people to read its articles.
- The New York Times' public editor, Arthur S. Brisbane, created a new Twitter account today.
As an FYI, I've created a new handle, @nytlongreads, as a service for those looking for the best longform journalism in the NYT each day.- Hey! Pretty good idea, actually! It'll be nice to be able to... oh.
- I am discontinuing @nytlongreads because Times reserves NYT handles for its own accounts and may offer such a service in the future
- I eagerly look forward to this service never launching.
- Question to research later: If your name is Nathan Y. Tittermary, can the Times prevent you from putting your initials in your Twitter handle?
