Woman released, gunman dead in Kamloops standoff

Jessica Lepp of CJNL Kamloops covered an incident last night where a man took a woman and her four children hostage. The children escaped and the woman was freed several hours later, however the man is dead after a massive fire engulfed the home. Here is Lepp's twitter account of the incident.
