If Joel Stave is 100% healthy, who should start at QB for UW in the Rose Bowl?

Joel Stave hasn't played since injuring his collarbone on Oct. 27. But he was at Wisconsin's first practice off to the side throwing. I asked my followers, if Stave is able, who should start at QB in the Rose Bowl?

  1. @dave_heller Stave's downfield ability on the play action to abby is a huge deal, were gonna need that against Stanfords stout run game, no?
  2. @dave_heller Can't think that way...the running game is what the #Badgers need to stay focused on. #FreightTrain
  3. @dave_heller you gotta stick with the hot hand, Curt Phillips is game ready and ran the offense to perfection in the championship game
  4. @dave_heller stave HAS to start. With Stan. front 7 need threat of deep play action pass
  5. @dave_heller Stave, sunshine is much more effective throwing the rock.
  6. @dave_heller yes....for sure...great passer!! Joel is the future..played awesome.. .only a freshman!!
  7. @dave_heller Stave! He's got experience now, plus James White & the other RBs to back him up.
  8. @dave_heller I would stay with Phillips, he's a senior and has improved a great deal, he played well in the #B1GFCG
  9. @dave_heller Phillips. He's been getting the reps in practice the last month. Has to be concern about Stave being rusty.
  10. @dave_heller use them both...but if i have to pick one personally, Phillips.
  11. @dave_heller Stave, no-brainer. I'd play him tomorrow if he was cleared.
  12. @dave_heller I think you have to let Phillips finish out. Rest of the team would run through brick walls for him. Leader. Tough. Gritty.
