Hilarious Twitter bug swaps profile pictures and backgrounds of verified celebrities and brands

A Twitter bug on September 14th has caused a number of verified celebrity and brand accounts to have their avatars and backgrounds swapped with other verified accounts. The bug also dropped the "Verified" status of those accounts.

    Ummmm - seems Twitter is having some issues. Woke up to find I have a new Avatar and Twitter background. Looks like others have same issue

    seems like quite a few of the people reporting changed avatars/backgrounds are 'verified' accounts (and their verified status is also gone)
