Players React to NCAA Sanctions
At 9 a.m. today, NCAA president Mark Emmert announced sanctions against Penn State in the wake of the release of the Freeh report, including a $60 million fine, 4-year bowl ban, reduction of scholarships, and wins from 1998-2011 set to be vacated. Here's how football players responded on Twitter.
- Former players sounded off on the sanctions:
- ...as did current players, who -- in accordance with the announced NCAA sanctions -- will technically be free to transfer if they so desire.
- Recruits also tweeted following the announcement, though their messages were a bit more cryptic than those of the former and current players.
