My time in Joplin
I left Nashville Tuesday morning, less than 36 hours after the deadliest tornado in more than six decades ripped through the city of Joplin, Mo., a town of about 50,000 in the southwest corner of the state. I wanted to see if I could tell the story. I wanted to help. Follow my trip and peer into the Joplin chaos where nearly a third of the city was leveled and more than 130 people were killed.
