U Lead We Lead
Welcome to U Lead We Lead! Tonight is a cross campus collaboration of faculty, staff and students, to dive in to the questions- "What is leadership? How do I become a better leader?" The night will be filled with stories from our guest speakers and distinguished leaders. There will be staff, faculty, and students to help build conversation in small groups. No lectures about leadership here. This is night is all about stories, experiences, and learning from one another. Our Guest Speakers and story tellers for the night are: Lorenzo Romar - UW Mens Basketball Coach, and former UW Husky! Dorothy Bullitt - Senior Lecturer at UW's Evans School, and former UW Husky! Rabbi Will Berkovitz - Interim CEO and Senior Vice President of Repair the World Jamie Lee - Development Director for Sanctuary Art Center and former UW HUSKY!
'U Lead, We Lead' event encourages cross-campus conversationSmall blue cubes topped the tables of the HUB ballroom Thursday night. On each side of the cube was a question. As students, faculty, and community members flooded the room, table captains greeted them. Throughout the night, these captains facilitated conversations about leadership using these cubes and other tools.- Happy to see so many great @UW students at #uleadwelead! Lorenzo Romar is on stage now.
