I've had my iPad for a little over 2 months now and in spite of craziness revolving around moving across the state and settling in, and gazillions of meetings to select a lab (yes really gazillions!) I've had a chance to play around with my new toy a bit.

One of the nicest things about about going to scientific meetings is that you get to meet interesting people. Instead of swapping cards and going about your way, in the modern world social media allows you to stay in touch more frequently personally while sharing cancer and scientific information over time.

Mobile apps for science are expanding in scope and capability very quickly, yet there is no easy way to source information regarding what is available, what the community thinks of these apps (in terms of general reviews) and clustering of these apps into functional groupings. That is the intention of this wiki.
