Missouri fans mostly (but not totally) negative after football team's loss to South Carolina
The Missouri football team traveled to Columbia, S.C., to play its first-ever road conference game in the SEC. The Tigers lost, 31-10, in a game never really in doubt. Few people expected Missouri to win on the road against the No. 7 team in the country, but most were hopeful for a closer game.
- Former players couldn't decide whether to be hopeful or disgusted during Saturday's game.
- Fans and reporters lost hope for a comeback in the second half.
- Some observers echoed statements said throughout the Southeastern Conference that Missouri may not be up to snuff when it comes to competing in the SEC.
- Some fans and reporters took a different perspective and realized it's a long road to finding success in the SEC.
- Or @ChaseDaniel RT @davidnail: Gotta get better! South Carolina congrats, you got a good team and your QB played like John Elway today...
- And some fans will always take heart in a Kansas loss.
