  2. The report, which cited a Nevada prison official, said Simpson was released from Lovelock Correctional Center early Sunday.

    In October 2008, the ex-football star, who had been acquitted of murder in the deaths of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in 1995, was found guilty of armed robbery, kidnapping and assault charges in "a botched hotel-room heist of sports memorabilia," the AP reported. He was sentenced to 33 years behind bars.

    Although Simpson, 70, has said he plans to return to Florida, officials there said they haven't received the documents needed for relocating there, the AP reported.

    Simpson will be under parole supervision for five years, but that "could be reduced with credits for good behavior," the AP reported.
