1. WTVD initially reported that 15 soldiers were taken to Womack Medical Center. The number was later revised to "at least eight." It was not immediately clear how badly the soldiers were hurt.
  2. In a statement, officials with U.S. Army Special Operations Command said that eight personnel were injured in a demolitions training incident that involved both students and cadre at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School.
  3. The explosion happened when a vehicle rolled over on a remote part of the base, according to WTVD.

  6. About 57,000 military personnel are attached to Fort Bragg, located next to Fayetteville, N.C. It is the largest Army installation by population and covers about 161,000 acres. The Special Operations Command has about 23,000 soldiers spread over several sites.
