How Can ePortfolios Support 21st Century Learning?

- Lisa Gray, eLearning Programme Manager at JISC set the scene for us with a presentation looking at the defining eportfolios and their uses and some of the activities that JISC has been supporting in institutions round the UK HE and FE sectors.
- Emma Purnell from the University of Wolverhampton presented without slides on the topic of "templated" eportfolios. To help get learners started with their eportfolio and to give them a scaffolded approach, teaching staff design and distribute eportfolio templates that contain a variety of elements with instructions written into them. Students are then free to customise their eportfolio from that point.
