Call Me Maybe business cards take dating world by storm

As if it weren't enough that her song Call Me Maybe is Number 2 on both the iTunes Top 100 and Billboard's Hot 100, pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen is now being championed for inspiring a new series of business cards.

  2. Call me maybe business cards are officially a thing: yfrog.com/esaqzufj
  3. Wow Call me Maybe business cards, now if that ain't impact on pop culture I don't know what is!
  4. The cards riff on the song's chorus, which is, literally:

    Hey, I just met you/
    And this is crazy/
    But here's my number/
    So call me, maybe?

(Hear the chorus in the official video, below.)
  5. It's unclear as to whether teenage girls have been using the business cards to meet their lawn-mowing, car-fixing neighbours (you did watch the video, didn't you?).

Instead, according to tweeters and Facebookers, it seems that men are using the cards to meet women... and not always successfully.
  6. These "Call me, maybe" business cards I had printed up aren't working out nearly as well as I had hoped.
  7. Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but your business cards should never reference "Call Me Maybe"
  8. Somehow, the spontaneity component seems lost with a stack of pre-printed business cards. bit.ly/JZibPJ
  9. This guy definitely wouldn't get a call from me, this is creepy or maybe just desperate . . . . This guy who goes to clubs gives out cards that read “Hey, I Just Met You And This Is Crazy. But Here’s My Number: David Coppini the guy you just met.
  10. "Call Me Maybe" business cards? Really? Well at least it will identify annoying losers on first meeting.

  12. "Call Me, Maybe" business cards? Fellas, I don't think she's calling you...maybe.
  13. People can seriously stop with the "call me maybe" business cards. In fact, anyone who is picking someone up with a business card can stop.
  14. Despite the naysayers, many others think the cards are a clever and possibly effective idea.
  15. @Madsmerce hahah call me maybe business cards. i feel like if a guy gave these out girls would just have to call him because it's so awesome

  17. Seems like a good business card strategy! http://www.hlntv.com/article/2012/05/23/call-me-maybe-business-cards?hpt=hp_c2
  18. Jepsen, who's 25 and from Mission, B.C., has yet to comment on the cards.

(Perhaps she's too busy gearing up for her upcoming tour as the opening act for fellow Canadian pop phenomenon Justin Bieber?)

What would you do if someone handed you a Call Me Maybe card? Would you call? If you don't like the cards, what do you think is the best way to meet someone?
