Fights erupt at Black Friday sales across U.S.
Americans flocked to stores across the U.S. on Friday morning to take advantage of post-Thanksgiving sales. In some cases, however, shoppers turned violent as the battle over bargains intensified.

- As hundreds crowded into a Wal-Mart store in Georgia, fights broke out over much-desired sale items.
- In some cities, however, the rush turned violent.
- Police in North Carolina were on the hunt for two suspects after shots were fired at a mall in Fayetteville.
- And in Porter Ranch, Calif., one woman was arrested after allegedly using pepper spray to keep other shoppers out of her way during a scuffle over the new Xbox 360.
