  2. This year I attended the ALT Conference (Association for Learning Technology) for the first time, after several years of enjoying the conference as a virtual participant. It was a joy to meet so many online friends and colleagues, in person, for the first time -- and to meet many new people and debate ideas. I left the conference with renewed optimism and plenty of ideas for future collaborations. Warm thanks to all, particularly the organisers and co-chairs: Maren Deepwell, Martin Hawksey, Sarah Cornelius, Linda Creanor, Joe Wilson and all the team.

Along with the wonderful Audrey Watters and Jeff Haywood, I was invited to give a keynote at the conference. While preparing my blog post about the keynote this morning, I reviewed the tweet stream from the keynote -- it is summarized here. Thank you so much to all who shared their thoughts. I was overwhelmed and humbled by your response.
[I'll post a link to the blog post here as soon as it is finished.]
