It's been a while that new Google+ content was added to this area. We have taken a newly built redesign of a very large site online. I have just surfaced from my testing, troubleshooting, monitoring and rewrite bubble. We are not done yet, but the worst is over. Not every page actually has good coding to allow for nice previews in your profile, but that's a different story...
- Every Google + use now has 150 invitations to use for friends, family and who ever should be on Google+ - Last estimates are 20 Million users already on Google, makes potentially 300 Million users when every user uses the invitations, and the receiver doesn't get more than one... aaahhh theoretically... Anyway... you get a link now you can use so people can click on it to consider themselves invited... Still need a @gmail account...

Claim your Business on Google Places
When surfing the net I see a lot of Google Places that have not been claimed by businesses. The Redesign on the site would suggest that Google Places will be integrated into the Google+ for Business environment. (I have check-in to various places via the andoird application and it showed up on my stream in Google+)
Make sure your entry is correct upload photos, update your information and make sure that the location marker is at the correct spot.
This should be a no-brainer however it seems that most business have not yet taken the time to make the place theirs. Get ready!

Those check-in were done via Android Google Places up, and also work on the Google+ app. Great feature is the option to have Andoid auto-check-in into Places of your choice.
