ICIRR's One Nation, One Dream Advocacy Day
The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights gathered hundreds of advocates to lobby against recent proposed state budget cuts and in support of state DREAM Act at the Statehouse Capitol rotunda Thursday, March 3, 2011.

Activists from Chicago's Immigrant Youth Justice League exit the bus after their three-hour ride to Springfield and gather signs and materials to prepare for their lobbying day.
- Gov. Pat Quinn's budget cuts, if passed, could cuts services for immigrants and refugees by 74 percent. Activists here are also meeting with lawmakers to discuss passing a state DREAM Act that would provide higher education funds to children of illegal immigrants.
