Bluffton team to shave and fight childhood cancer
What may have felt like an unrealistic goal, to raise $2,500 in a month to support St. Baldrick's was achieved in less that a week through generosity and the power of a good cause and social media. What a way to start pre-season baseball.

The Bluffton team announced a goal of raising $2,500 for St. Baldrick's on the first day of pre-season practice.
- On Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 31, 2012, 11 players and coaches had committed to sporting a shaved head going into spring training trip to Florida. By Friday afternoon, Feb. 3, that number had ballooned to 42!
