#OccupyWallSt police raid and eviction as covered by @baratunde

For three hours (0120 to 0420), I remotely covered the middle-of-the-night police action against the peaceably assembled at Zuccotti Park in New York. My sources were location-based twitter search, citizen and reporter tweets, live web feeds, the NYPD police scanner and traffic cams

  1. I got an email at 1:20 AM claiming police raid was about to go down at Occupy Wall Street. I checked the official site and starting tweeting based on live feed and text updates there, beginning with this

  5. Throughout the night I saw many references to the Brooklyn Bridge being closed. I looked through several live traffic cam feeds but couldn't visually verify. There's also construction on the bridge and one traffic site reported northbound lanes closed for construction
