BAFTA Screenwriters Lecture: Paul Laverty
On 29 September 2011, Paul Laverty gave the penultimate lecture in our Screenwriters' Series at the BFI Southbank. Laverty, whose writing delicately balances the political and emotional, is best known for his 15-year partnership with Ken Loach which has yielded outstanding features such as Carla's Song, My Name Is Joe, Sweet Sixteen and The Wind That Shakes The Barley.
