Can't be live so early Q: does AU plan to develop MOOC courses on any subjects or near term focus only on IR online degree? #AskAUPresident- There are no plans at present to develop MOOC courses at AU. However, we will continue to look at it very closely. #AskAUPresident
- Fossil fuel issue was raised with the Board of Trustees chair Thurs. evening. He indicated a willingness to learn more. #AskAUPresident 1/2
- He wants to continue studying the issue, is eager to learn more about what peer institutions are doing. #AskAUPresident 2/2
#askAUpresident Why are professors not paid the wages they deserve? Why won't @AmericanU raise #adjunct wages and improve our education?- Adjunct faculty are represented by a union and negotiations are ongoing. I look forward to the agreement. #AskAUPresident
Dr K. - What are our chances of getting a football team on campus? Don't say zero, please. I still have eligibility. #AskAUPresident- OK, not zero. Chances of AU football are comparable to you being hit by a meteor this afternoon. #AskAUPresident

Why "Wonk"? AU is about scholarship meeting citizenship: unique student activism w/ strong academics. Not obscure expertise. #AskAUPresident- WONK is “know” spelled backwards. WONKs are passionate experts who use knowledge to create change. That’s AU. #AskAUPresident
What has been your favorite memory as an Alum and now as President? #AskAUPresident- As president, every commencement is special. Too many alumni memories to choose just one. #AskAUPresident
