AMA Conference 2011 - Thursday
This year's AMA Conference is taking place in Glasgow at the Royal Concert Hall from 19 July - 21 July. This is my first AMA conference and I'll be using Storify to keep a record of the highlights.
Today's icon photo is the newest arts venue in Glasgow - the Riverside Museum. (Excited! It got a huge shout out from Shelley Bernstein @shell7 of the Brooklyn Museum @brooklynmuseum yesterday. Today it is my poster child.)
There's lots more thoughtful blogging coming in from other channels - not the least the AMA.
- It's the final day of the AMA Conference. We've had lots of great feedback about Glasgow and about this year's conference. And once again we're webcasting thanks to Creative Scotland.
The morning after the night before. (See yesterday's blog post.) I believe there were shenanigans. But, the show most certainly goes on.
First up on the AM Keynote podium - Jane Finnis of Culture 24 and Sebastian Chan from the Powerhouse Museum talking about Innovation and change -- where it matters most.
- It was true! She used a wacky tool called songify - if you love that vocoder auto tuned sound, use it to make your own.
Sebastian Chan followed and talked about some of the tensions and techniques at the Powerhouse Museum - a museum in Sydney which focuses on design and science.
