The Hoodie Becomes Culture War Flashpoint

- News reports talked about the "Million Hoodie" march in New York's Union Square last week. That spurred six NY state lawmakers to also wear hoodies as reported in this article, linked below.
- Celebrities took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the death of Trayvon Martin, including P. Diddy, Chaka Khan and others. The entire Miami Heat team also posted a picture of the team in hoodies on LeBron James' twitter account, linked below.
- As of March 27, Change.org had reached over two million signatures in their petition to arrest George Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Fla.
