The Washington Post rumbles with BuzzFeed

A mostly civil war.

  1. After Washington Post reporter Rajiv Chandrasekaran dissed Post blogger Jennifer Rubin in a tweet, BuzzFeed called it a "Civil War":
  2. That article said the Post was "Late to the internet and struggling to maintain its status as a top-tier news outlet." Posties pushed back.
  3. I do appreciate @Buzzfeed calling WaPo "late to the internet" when we were on the web a decade before they existed. buzzfeed.com/rosiegray/wash…
  4. Wait, there's a civil war at WaPo? Wonder who will play me in the reenactment. bit.ly/YGICSJ #ThosePeople
  5. @jfdulac The video cave = the new Kentucky. Will it go newsroom or editorial?
  6. D.C. press gadfly Kevin Reiss sprang into action with a Ken Burns-themed clip.
  7. And then, to the delight of at least one media critic eating lunch, BuzzFeed and Post staffers starting exchanging fire.
  8. .@PhilipRucker @MonicaHesse @BuzzFeed I believe you had the internet operation in a different company, WPNI, in a different STATE, til 2010?
  9. @McCollumAshley @MonicaHesse @BuzzFeedBen Just because you're a deft handler of motorcycles doesn't mean you invented the wheel
  10. @jfdulac @McCollumAshley @MonicaHesse @BuzzFeedBen Buzzfeed/#wapo trash talk has distracted me from story I was writing with my quill pen.
