How are you giving back to your community during the holidays?

We asked the question on facebook and got some nice responses. Check them out! If you'd like to add a comment go to the WLBZ 2 facebook page or mention us in a tweet.

  1. My husband is an Iraq veteran, and his brother is currently serving in Afghanistan, so the military is very close to our hearts. As a family we have been sending care packages to our troops since the deployment started. Last month our homeschool group (a group of several homeschooling families who get together for Science fairs, field trips etc.) decided to "adopt" the unit my brother-in-law is deployed with. What started out being a Christmas care package, will continue until they are all home again! God bless our troops, and the families who are alone this Christmas season!
