Just saw the sweetest thing on tv, two beautiful young ladies from Springfield are going to Galena to skate in the Special Olympics! Going for the Gold! Good luck ladies!

I'm putting on my snowshoes and heading to Special Olympics State Winter Games in Galena next week! I"ll be cheering for our athletes who will be skiing and snowshoeing (at Chestnut Mountain) and skating (at Mystique Ice Center in Dubuque). I can't wait for the cool Opening Ceremonies in downtown Galena on Tuesday!
