As I was walking home from the grocery store, a couple of people saw me while driving on the opposite side of the road.

These same people turned around and threw their cup at me and hit me in the arm that had beer in it.

I was shocked and angry that they did this.

I couldn't help but think that these same people reminded me of bullies.

The reason is because bullies feel that if they pick on someone and make their lives miserable that they will feel good about themselves.

Like the people who felt that by throwing a drink at me would make their night better.

And the sad thing is that the majority of people who see someone get bullied don't stand up for the person because they feel that it doesn't concern them.

What they fail to understand is that the ones who are being bullied will one day be successful and change the world for the better.

And those same successful people will remember who stood up for them and who didn't.

Like my good friend, Chelsea Krost, who is a great representative for the Millennial Generation, and is bringing awareness to bullying with Rachele Brooke Smith.

So if you see someone getting bullied, please stand up for that person because they will remember your kindness for a very long time.
