For me, 2013 has been a year of taking another step towards my goals.

I had the opportunity to launch my radio show, "What's The Word?" in February on BlogTalkRadio and have interviewed amazing people who have made their mark in the world.

People like Rolf Potts, author of the book, "Vagabonding"

I really have a profound respect for him because he didn't go with the norm of going into the 9-5 world.

Instead, he followed his passion and traveled the world and in the process became a successful travel writer.

  3. It was really being out of my comfort zone because I'm a sports writer and you might think that I should have hosted a sports show.

That's a fair assessment, but I felt that I wanted to broaden my horizons and hear from people who have succeeded in their respective career fields to share their stories of how they fulfill their dreams.

And I can say that I fulfilled my goals for this year and beyond in "lifting up the most powerful and influential people in the world.

Now, I'm looking to take it to another level and after attending an awesome webinar last night that was done by Lori Harder, who was on the cover of Oxygen Magazine, I'm putting out my goals out here so that you can keep me accountable.

  5. This is a little bit of my "vision" board that I want to accomplish in 2014

    To get back into shape
    To be financially independent
To continue to make a positive impact on peoples lives
To continue to surround myself with people who will encourage me to be great.
To learn how to be a copywriter
    To learn Final Cut Pro
    To start writing a journal
To continue writing on my website

Normally, I would not put myself out there because I'm an introvert, but I know I needed to because it will force me to do what I need to do in order to make 2014 the best year ever.

What are your goals for 2014?
