A Snow Day At U.Va.

University of Virginia students spent their March 6 snow day skiing on Grounds, building snowmen on the Lawn, hunting for power when the lights went out, studying by candlelight and, of course, capturing it all on Twitter. Here's a look:

  1. Winter Storm Warning until early Thursday morning.
  2. Due to snow predictions, the Staff Appreciation Pancake Breakfast will now be held March 19, 6:30-9:30 am, Newcomb Hall Ballroom.
