  1. African Lion is an annual exercise between U.S. Marines and Moroccan military. Sponsored by U.S. Africa Command, the event involves command post, live-fire and maneuvering, peace support operations, an intelligence capacity building seminar, aerial refueling/low-level flight training, as well as medical and dental assistance projects.
