What Do You Look For When Joining a New League? An Expert Opinion Poll
It's always exciting to join a new league. You meet new people, get new rules, if it's a dynasty you get to start out brand new. It's all very thrilling, like a new love. However, just like love the honeymoon period passes at some point and flaws start to appear. Right about then the question arises, "Is this league right for me?" In order to avoid miserable leagues that question needs to be asked before joining. We asked our experts what else they do or look for before joining a new league.

Someone w/ the best for the league in mind.- Eric Dickens has had many hobbies in his league but according to him fantasy football has by far held his interest the longest. @TheFFGhost I'm pretty much at my limit with 8. If I do join a new one it needs a unique concept surrounding it that most leagues dont offer

@TheFFGhost the only thing that matters to me is the people in the league care. Everything else will take care of itself if all are into it
@TheFFGhost Try to only join leagues that require payment. Otherwise it's too easy for owners to quit midseason.
@TheFFGhost Dedicated owners, understandable rules/scoring system, available commissioner, good communication with owners #FantasyFootball- @DynastyFootball @TheFFGhost Biggest thing for me, too. I'll play under any rules, as long as they're consistent. bad owners = deal breaker
- League vote is also very important to me. I don't think a commissioner should ever have complete control. They become tyrants. @TheFFGhost
@TheFFGhost I look for a strong commish and rules. Owners I want to play against who are committed to the league and active- @TheFFGhost I look for guys that are into trading. Active owners who know their stuff. And trash talkers. I loves me the trash talkers!
