Orange County's 7th Street Bridge Connector Opens Saturday
The 7th Street Bridge connecting the northbound San Diego Freeway (I-405) with the westbound Garden Grove Freeway (SR-22) is reopening to the travelers after one year of construction. The freeway improvements are part of the West County Connectors construction project for I-405, SR-22 and I-605.

- After nearly 12 months of construction, crews will reopen the northbound I-405 / westbound SR-22 / 7th Street connector, also known as the 7th Street bridge, the morning of Saturday, April 28. The bridge reconstruction was necessary to accommodate new carpool lanes on the I-405 beneath the bridge as part of the West County Connectors (WCC) project. The WCC project team would like to thank you for your patience and support during this major closure. To celebrate the reopening of the 7th Street bridge and thank the community, the WCC team will be out and about this summer at local events.
