- First there was this tweet. In terms of overall sentiment, it's a pretty average Levy tweet except for the hashtag, which, as many were soon to note, is just completely off the wall.
- City Hall watcher Jonathan Goldsbie was one of the first to challenge Levy.
- She responded by belittling him.
- And then:
- @SueAnnLevy "MuslimBS" is not the sort of hashtag that requires feigned horror. Again, I ask you to please explain what you meant.
- A Twitter user named David Fox responded to Levy in an attempt to point out the obvious.
- Levy's rejoinder was odd.
- @DavidFox_Canada Actually you might want to check clips on YouTube from CNN that show otherwise. Sorry this might make the LibLeft cringe.
- Gradually, other Twitter users began bombarding Levy with requests for clarification on the original tweet. It was't long before National Post columnist Jonathan Kay joined the dogpile. This, by the way, is a man who is considered to be a conservative commentator. Ostensibly, he and Levy play in the same league, if not on the same team.
@SueAnnLevy: Can we look fwd 2 a Sun column in which u expand on your thesis that Obama is "Muslim"/spouts "Muslim BS'? http://pic.twitter.com/2kaQoNUp- @SueAnnLevy Your walkback apology on Birther Tweet could be: "Im sorry. I was distressed by how much ass Obama was kicking. I wasnt myself!"
- Then Daniel Dale, a City Hall reporter for the Toronto Star, began interrogating Levy.
- Dale refers back to the "YouTube video" tweet in an attempt to catch Levy out.
- @SueAnnLevy You tweeted #MuslimBS. When someone tweeted at you to say that he's actually a Christian, you responded, "Actually
- @SueAnnLevy you might want to check clips on YouTube from CNN that show otherwise." What could that possibly mean other than that
- @SueAnnLevy you don't think he's a Christian and do think he's a Muslim? I'd happily tweet it out if you explain how I misunderstood.
- But she admits nothing.

- Christopher KingSAL would NEVER actually admit to do something wrong. She'll just imply that she offered an appearance of an apology.2012-10-23T21:29:42.329Z
