Sharing The Princess Bride

Friday night I introduced my kids (ages 7 and 5) to The Princess Bride, and live tweeted the movie, too.

  1. Tonight we introduce the kids to The Princess Bride. Woo!
  2. @SmartBitches Oh, that is indeed the greatest of experiences. Watching my kids watch that film for the first time was all kinds of awesome.
  3. @SmartBitches Sweet! I did that last year. They were not impressed. I was crushed. Keep thinking, maybe this will be the year they love it.
  4. @SmartBitches You'll have to try to lure the Inigo Bot afterwards.. just type "Inconceivable" on Twitter, and wait.....
  5. @Kris10Callihan @SmartBitches no luck getting my kids to love it like i do. Maybe it skips a generation. have fun storming the castle
  6. @SmartBitches LOVE! My 9 YO son said he didn't want to see it ("girly title"). Convinced him to try it. Now a favorite. Of course.
  7. "Is this a kissing book? Are you trying to trick me?"
  8. @SmartBitches :) We wore out VHS tapes of both of those movies. Doing dishes was the perfect time to be the witch casting the spell.
  9. @SmartBitches My son mimicked this scene the 1st time he watched it. He got into it w/ the shrieking eels, then the sword fight. :)
