  1. Thank you for joining our #263Chat this week. Our discussion today revolves around women.I know that sounds very general,on purpose #Twimbos

  4. What abt women & balancing acts. Can a woman have it all-CEO/Housewife/ Mum is it possible & wht support do they need to be all tht? #263Chat
  5. We talk regularly of empowerment, empowering women in society/business et al.Few mention empowering women in the home. Why is that? #263Chat
  6. @sirnige I am not as familiar with Zimbabwean law as I used to be but are women guaranteed equal rights by law? #263Chat
  7. @SirNige #263chat. Addressing women rights and educating people on equality. Problem is culture stil plays a key when it comes to gender
  8. RT @mudzudzu: @SirNige this question in itself is sexist and quite disrespectful to women! // Ok. Interesting view. How so? #263Chat
  9. @SirNige That is a very important question. How is there mutual respect without empowerment in all realms? #263Chat
  10. #263Chat balancing it all is difficult for any one we need to redefine the sex's' role role to incorporate equality and working women
  11. @sirnige First step is to deal with the patriarchal barricade that inhibit women from getting equal opportunities as man.#263Chat #Twimbos
  12. @SirNige If people do not assign archaic so-called traditional roles this is possible #263Chat
  13. @SirNige No one ever asks if a man can "have it all" why is that? #263Chat
  14. @E_Phi_I @SirNige granting equal rights does not mean granted equal opportunities. #263chat. women are still undermined
  15. #263Chat For it to b ok to have women at work it must b ok to have men at home, that way the 'bacon' can be brought to a 'home'
  16. #263Chat Abolish lobola. Long as u can b bought n sold, don't whine to be treated like an equal human being, honestly. How? *done*
  17. @SirNige #263Chat it seems that having a womb has been women's biggest curse! This question can just be asked of men too
  18. I hear people blaming culture. Some people blame culture for what has happened to lobola?Don't often hear what women think re lobola #263Chat
  19. RT @ResurrectZim: @E_Phi_I @sirnige the laws are there, but culturally we haven't moved on #263Chat #Zimbabwe //What do we do going forward?
  20. @E_Phi_I @SirNige #263Chat I see it as women r equal with men,unless its a cultural issue.That last part is what needs to b removed #TheLaw
  21. @SirNige in terms of social empowerment men need to stop leaning on culture in order to justify continued disempowerment of women #263Chat
  22. #263Chat Culture dictates that a womans place is in the subordinate. This culture topic keeps coming up nhai...
