  1. Good morning, #EdTechBaton followers! This is Laurie York, a 4th grade teacher at Woodrow Wilson Elementary in rural Gridley, CA! I have been teaching here for the past 11 years, and we just became a 1:1 Chromebook school last year. I am beyond excited! My students wanted to share a special hello with #EdTechBaton today as well, so a few of them spent time before school using @quivervision to create one of their favorite automatic augmented reality pages: exploding firecrackers! On a more academic note, we used Quiver to show us the inside of our own volcanoes last week. (Photo: @msyorksclass) #edtech #edtechchat #teachersfollowteachers #teachersofinstagram #augmentedreality

  3. During ELA, we used @storyboardthat to illustrate three vocabulary words used in today's chapter of Holes. We then imported these storyboards into an ongoing Google Slides presentation!   4. We started off our math period by using @tenmarksamazon to review equivalent fractions. TenMarks has been a great CCSS tool, with questions more closely aligned to our Smarter Balanced tests. #CCSS #fractions #math #mathchat #edtech #edtechchat #teachersofinstagram #teachersfollowteachers

  5. After our #TenMarks assignment, students played their #Sumdog adaptive math games while waiting for classmates to finish. When everyone was done, we took a moment for a @gonoodle brain break and rocked the "Bouje" Zumba song!   6. To finish off the period, we used @front_row_team to practice math at our own adaptive levels. This student happens to be working on our current unit of study. Front Row breaks down math by different domains, lets students practice their fast facts, and also now has ELA review.   7. While a large number of Ss are gone to various reading groups, my remaining Ss went to @madewithcode to either create a Yeti gif or help the Garden Robot water plants.
